Louis Goldenberg
Louis Goldenberg, CPA, CFE, CFF, is a Partner with Lieberman LLP. Mr. Goldenberg concentrates on providing litigation support and forensic accounting services to outside counsel and companies in various industries. In that context, he has been involved in IRS criminal investigations (CI), corporate investigations, partnership disputes, healthcare fraud matters, and employee theft cases. Mr. Goldenberg has validated and created financial projections during the due diligence phase of a range of mergers and acquisitions. He has also worked as a project manager providing applications development, data modeling, and database creation and maintenance services in creating business applications for companies.
Mr. Goldenberg is a contributor to industry publications including White Collar Crime Fighter and Big Ideas for Small Businesses and has written several articles, including, “Using Electronic Tools to Improve Fraud and Theft Detection,” “How to Tell When a Fraud Suspect is Lying,” “Employee Fraud in Today’s Economic Climate…And How to Protect Your Company,” and “Fraud in the Workplace.”
Mr. Goldenberg has experience in a range of industries, including automotive, court reporting, health care, not-for-profit, private clients, professional services, professional sports, publishing, real estate, retail, and telecommunications. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of CPAs, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Mr. Goldenberg received his Bachelor of Sciences in Accounting from New York University.
